Exhibitions in 2019 in Paris to see: Toutânkhamon at La Villette
In 1922, the British archaeologist Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun, the famous boy pharaoh, in the Valley of Kings. The boy pharaoh of the 18th Egyptian dynasty lived in the 14th century BC, so the tomb is a relatively recent find. The Toutânkhamon exhibition is at the Grande Halle de la Villette and will celebrate the centenary of this famous discovery. For the occasion, 150 spectacular pieces will be exhibited, including fifty traveling for the first time outside Egypt! To see it for yourself, join us at La Villette from March 23 to September 15, 2019!

The Musée d’Orsay honors Degas and the Opera
As we continue our selection of great exhibitions in 2019 in Paris, let’s look at the wonderful master painter Edgar Degas. From September 24, 2019 until January 19, 2020, the wonderful Musée d’Orsay will present a Degas exhibition at the Opéra. For 40 years (at the end of the 19th century), Edgar Degas made the Opera a “room of his” according to the expression which is attributed to him. He reflected everything at the Opera House and the Musée d’Orsay reflects these years through paintings representing his entire world of the Opera. From the orchestra, through the spectators, and even the little rats of the Opera, the whole universe of the opera is represented! We can not wait to be there! In the meantime, you can discover more information about the exhibition here.
